Jo Kwon will be making his dubbing debut.
It was reported that the singer will be the voice of Pinocchio while actor Jang Kwang will dub Pinocchio’s grandfather Geppetto, and actor Sung Dong Il will be the voice behind Pinocchio’s cat Figaro. This being Jo Kwon’s first time to dub an animation, he commented “I’ve always wanted to try dubbing for an animated film. After receiving the casting offer to play a character that looks exactly like me and suits me well, I grabbed it without any hesitation.”Sung Dong Il also shared, “More than anything else, I am happy to take on dubbing for an animated film which I know my children will enjoy.”
The animation will be released on April 25th in theaters around Korea.
Meanwhile, 2AM ranked 3rd on Gaon Chart‘s National Digital Singles and National Physical Albums with “One Spring Day” for the 1st week of March.
