Fans of ‘The Baddest Female‘ in K-Pop will be happy to know this news – 2NE1‘s fearless leader CL is preparing for her first solo album!
In her recent appearance in Vanity Fair Italia, she revealed that she is hard at work perfecting the music for what will be her first full-length solo album. As to whether or not there will be English tracks, this is what Vanity Fair said:
“She’s not saying her solo album will be all in English, but she’s smiling, repeating us that this is just the start of a new life and she says: ‘my real Korean name was too difficult to pronounce abroad. ‘ “‘
With this snippet, as well as her recent connections with artist Skrillex and public appearances in the United States, we can definitely speculate on it! What would you rather – a full Korean album or a mix of her English and Korean work?
We wonder what direction that CL will take next! For now, let’s throw back to her first solo single, “The Baddest Female“.
