2PM, with the exception of Nickhun, have all opened up about their plana for the mandatory military enlistment that is part of the South Korean culture.
In a recent interview, for their promotions of their fourth studio album “Go Crazy,” they revealed the disappointing news that the members plan to enlist in the military soon, with Jun.K being the first.
“Taecyeon and I are considering enlisting together, but as for the other members, we haven’t discussed any details,” said Jun.K on future plans on enlistment.
It seems like the members are planning on enlisting for military service in groups with hopes of shortening their time away from promotions.
Jun.K later when on and said “If we go one by one, it won’t be until 6 years later, when I’m 35, that 2PM would be able to have a group comeback.”
Taecyeon also added “But we don’t have that many members, and there are many possibilities that we have to shorten the inactivity of 2PM.”
By decideing to enter the service in this manner, the members are showing that they don’t like not being together and not being there for their fans. They are planning on creating a way where they can fulfill their military service and not spend much time away from promoting.
