2PM’s Nichkhun and Taecyeon Show their Condolences to A’st1’s Sung In Gyu’s Death

The two 2PM members express their deep condolences for Sung In Gyu‘s death.

On February 22nd, 2PM’s Nichkhun posted on his personal Twitter account, “Condolences to the family of our friend In Gyu. Rest in peace.” While Taecyeon, tweeted, “My friend In Gyu, I can’t believe you left like this. Rest in peace.”

Sung In Gyu, who was diagnosed with thymus cancer last March of 2011, had passed away last February 22nd after  receiving treatment for over a year. His fellow member, Park Jung Jin tweeted, “A former member of A’st1 and my friend In Gyu went to heaven. It must’ve been very tough to receive the treatments but he always greeted me with a lively voice.”

Back in 2011, Sung In Gyu posted on his personal homepage, “I am starting to have a heartache. I went to the hospital and had a CT and found a rumor. This is a malignant tumor. I have been diagnosed with the rare disease thymus cancer.”
