Park Si Yeon, Lee Seung Yeon and Jang Mi In Ae have appeared at their first propofol abuse hearing and denied all charges.
The hearing centered on clearing up whether the three had conspired with their doctors and whether the two doctors, also charged in the case, knew they were addicted to the drug.
Park Si Yeon’s attorney ensured that the court only “need to look over the facts” while attorney of Lee Seung Yeon denied all charges, stating: “We acknowledge that [Lee Seung Yeon] received the injections but they were administered for medical purposes with a doctor′s prescription.” Jang Mi In Ae’s attorney has also denied the charges and added: “This case undermines the painful efforts celebrities put into themselves.”
The three actresses have been accused of administrating propofol – the same drug that could have been the killer of the ‘King of Pop’ – Michael Jackson.
According to the prosecution, Park Si Yeon had been administered propofol 185 times from February 2011 to December 2012, while disguising it under having ‘carboxy therapies.’ Lee Seung Yeon had been administered the drug 111 times from the same months as the above actress, but with the excuse of Botox procedures. Jang Mi In Ae also started in December of 2011 but to September 2012; having it 95 times.
The next hearing will take place on April 8th.
