After gaining a lot of sudden popularity with “Up&Down” in 2014, EXID are ready to release their second mini-album.
The comeback announcement was made with Hani‘s teaser picture on April 1st, but many fans wondered if it was just an April Fool’s prank. However, their company later released individual photo teasers for three other members, confirming the comeback news.
Hani, Hyerin, Solji and Junghwa all look stunning and innocent in their photos, wearing comfortable clothes and seeming to be deep in thought. Check them out:
Before releasing LE‘s individual photo, the company dropped the first MV teasers for their title song “Ah Yeah“. In vibrant clothes and daring looks, the girls have to face many censhorships in what looks like a very interesting storyline. Check it out:
The excessive censorship can mean two things: the girls are either releasing a very sexy music video and decided to censor it in a funny and exaggerate way before it could be banned, or their music video will actually question and criticize the sexy concepts. Either way, I’m really looking forward to see what the video will be like, since the teaser alone was enough to get me hyped up for their comeback.
Since LE’s individual teaser wasn’t released before the video, and she also didn’t appear in the MV teaser, fans began to wonder if something had happened to her. However, Yedang Entertainment quickly calmed them down, saying “LE participated in the production of the album’s songs, and she will also play an important role in the full MV of ‘Ah Yeah,’ so please look forward to it.”
EXID’s sencond mini-album “Ah Yeah” and the music video for the title song will drop on April 13rd at 12PM KST. Stay tuned to Officially Kmusic in order not to miss it!
