Finally, after three years of waiting, Ailee, one of the promising singers in the K-pop world, will have a comeback with not just a single or even a mini-album. This time, Ailee will be releasing her first full-length album sometime in October. And just recently, she had her first ever solo concert, “Fatal Attraction” held at Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on July 4th.
YMC Entertainment stated during an interview with Newsen on June 30th that, “Ailee is working on her first full-length album, aiming for an October release. It should be out no later than October. We haven’t found the title track yet. Rather than working with one set producer, we’re currently accepting a variety of songs.”
Having said that, Aileeans or Ailee’s fans worldwide gave the solo artist much love, support, and enthusiasm on her comeback this year. Originally, it was supposed to be released in July, but due to her hectic schedules, she is planning to return later this fall.
YMC also said, “We planned for a July comeback, but we needed to prepare for the upcoming concert, and as it′s her first full-length album, there are more things we need to take care of. We are currently pouring our efforts into producing a good album.”
After the announcement by her company for her solo concert “Fatal Attraction” in May, the tickets to the concert were sold out, proving Ailee’s popularity. Now fans are getting pumped-up to listen to all of the tracks for her upcoming full-length album, and of course, grab a copy of the album.
On June 30th, YMC also uploaded a teaser video on their YouTube channel showing Ailee performing the choreography Johnny, believed to be one of the tracks included on the album.
