Akdong Musician Plans on Going Back to Mongolia

On April 12th, a representative of “K-Pop Star Season 2” announced that Akdong Musician will be returning to Mongolia to be with their family.

Their father stated, “We are planning to return around April 20. The kids needs to rest after their exhausting schedule.” He also said, “Other than returning briefly in May to film a commercial, we will be taking a break together as a family.”

While they rest, they will be making the very important decision of which agency to join. The siblings gained attention with their self-composed songs for the competition. They have recently revealed that they have composed 54 songs.

Since they are going back to Mongolia, they will not appear at the special “K-Pop Star Dream Stage” episode of the competition.

This episode will feature collaborative performances of contestants of seasons 1 and 2. Lee Hi and 2000 Won have already been confirmed to appear. They will be performing, “Love the Way You Lie“, originally performed by American rapper Eminem and Barbadian singer, Rihanna.
