One of our junior writers went to see IMFACT and she would like to share her experience with you all!
The five-member group, consisting of leader Jian, Jeup, Taeho, Lee Sang and maknae Ungjae, started their first European Tour on April 13th, 2019. The first stop was Madrid, Spain. Amsterdam, Cologne, Warsaw and Berlin followed, and the last stop was Athens, Greece on April 21st. It was the first time ever a K-pop group held a concert in Greece, apart from the band LEDApple back in October 2014, and Greek fans couldn’t be more excited!
The doors opened at 5pm, 2 hours before the concert, and the crowd started to enter the venue. The excitement was visible on everyone’s face, especially when the group’s music videos started to play on the big screen, 15 minutes before the show.
When the boys finally made their appearence, the fans went crazy! They kicked off the concert with their latest release ‘Only U‘, followed by ‘NANANA‘. Then it was time for them to introduce themselves. Jian and Taeho even spoke in greek!
The next songs they performed were ‘The Light‘ and ‘Feel So Good‘. They made a small pause to talk to the audience, and continued with ‘Trouble Maker‘, ‘Mirrorz‘ and ‘Woo‘.
Then Jian and Taeho left the stage to get ready for their solo stages and the other three members were interacting with the fans. Taeho danced to Nathan Shrake‘s ‘P.Y.T‘ and Jian did a cover of Taemin‘s ‘WANT‘. Ungjae sang his self-composed track ‘Vanilla sky‘, Lee Sang also performed his self-composed song ‘Repetition‘ (되풀이) and Jeup sang his OST for the drama ‘When Time Stopped‘, ‘I Promise You‘. There were also stages performed by units between the members.
After the solo stages, all the members gathered once more on the stage and continued the concert with the songs ‘In The Club‘ and and ‘She Is‘, a song written by the members for their fans, IFs.
Once more, they talked to the fans and made a promise that they would come back in the future! ‘4 Love‘, the OST of ‘Helping Abandoned Dogs Project‘, ‘Please Be My First Love’, ‘Lollipop‘ and ‘Tension Up‘ were the songs that followed. Before finally leaving the stage, they sang again a mix of their songs and said goodbye to the fans.
Of course, for the VIP ticket holders this was not the end, cause the Hi-touch and Photo session was next. The lucky funs were able to greet the members and take photos together.
That was the last part of what was an astonishing concert filled with great performances. It was a precious time spent between IMFACT and Greek IFs. Hopefully you’ll get to see them as well in the future. These boys are really talented and know how to put on a great show!!
