Eunji from Apink has just released two new special videos for ‘Being There‘. One is a lyrics video, while the other is an Instagram version.
Eunji made her solo comeback on October 17th with title track ‘Being There‘, which is from her third solo mini album ‘Hyehwa: Towards the Star-Shining Flower‘. It contains eight tracks, and each track was accompanied by a teaser image. The tracks on this mini album are: ‘For the Flower That Shines Like a Star’, title track ‘Being There’, ‘Like a Season Change’, ‘Box’, “Noticeable’, ‘B‘, ‘Secretary Kim’, and ‘Dawn’.
Lyrics video:
The lyrics video for ‘Being There‘ is an animated video that is similar to the original MV. It shows a cartoon version of Eunji taking public transport to a village. The starting frame is a lovely pink colour, and paper airplanes fly around the village. It then transitions to animated Eunji standing on a bridge and overlooking the waters. Later on, she stands accompanied by a loved one between rows of cherry blossom trees. The lyrics of the song appear on the side of video. This cute but heartwarming lyrics video will leave listeners with a nostalgic feeling.
Instagram version:
In the Instagram version, different clips from Instagram users across the world are shown. These clips depict the hometowns of these users. Their Instagram username appears in the video as well. The rural countryside and bodies of water are shown. This is a creative way to encourage fans to share part of their life through Eunji‘s song. Since ‘Being There‘ is being reflective of youth and childhood, this Instagram version effectively captures the same nostalgic feeling in the form of Instagram videos of the places where fans grew up.
