Earlier in the week, we reported TS Entertainment’s second official, and some would argue most inflammatory, statement regarding B.A.P‘s lawsuit. If by chance you missed it you can read it here. Following this report that agency released through social media, B.A.P’s legal representative spoke up regarding their statement.
He said: “TS Entertainment is trying to tie the members with terms like ‘acting under the terms of contract’, and ‘compensation for defamation’. They have not even until now, released any of the information members have asked for and have shown no reason for members to trust them. “
Regarding to the statement that the agency canceled their South American and Japanese tour for them to recharge their energy and rest. The representative responded: “The members worked under entertainment agency’s management for three years in order to achieve their dreams, but the company did not care for members’ health, even when a member was taken to an emergency and the hospital told the agency that something major could happen if the member wasn’t hospitalized, they talked about compensation for damages and took the members to the concert by force to perform.”
They added: “Nevermind the payout, the company did never revealed proper documentation even once. The only thing that members wanted at the end of 2013 was for the company to be transparent with their documents, but they refused to show the members anything relating to the amount of sales. The members, to this day, don’t know th guarantee of terms under wich they performed in various concerts. TS Ent. pressured them to act their part of the contract however, company didn’t do so.”
Regarding TS’s statement about the third-party involved, the legal representative replied: “The company that tried to making them into singing and dancing machines is the only third part involved int this whole situation. TS is refusing to give any proof and spreading false truths about the existence of a third-party. The members are trying to press defamation charges against the company as well.”
