A Starnews exclusive report has announced the news of singer-turned-actress Bae Seul Gi and actor Lee Min Ho – Lee Min Ho from ‘Rooftop Prince’, not Lee Min Ho from ‘Heirs’ – have been cast as the two protagonists in new film, “School of Youths”!
“School of Youths” is reported to be directed by Goo Mo, who recently directed “District 820.” The film is said to be set in the grounds of a school, during the Joseon Dynasty with the comedic focus of youths within the school. The focus of the film is directed towards a young, classical scholar and his romances in the duration of his stay in the school, and also investigating an incident where he was molested by a mysterious lady.
Bae Seul Gi is said to play the role of Hyang Ah, who, according to Joseon Dynasty standards, is considered ugly which leads to the others to tease her. It’s said that Bae Seul Gi will be Lee Min Ho’s love interest, her character is to be portrayed as rather carless, with a free-going personality, however a shy girl in front of Lee Min Ho’s character Mok Won.
Lee Min Ho’s character, Mok Won, is discussed to be the son of a noble family with exceptional talents in the study of mathematics. Mok Won is smart, handsome, and is serious about everything he does, however, arguments with his parents ensue because his talents in mathematics are not highly considered during the Joseon Dynasty.
Lee Min Ho, who has previously starred in; “Rooftop Prince,” “The Moon Embraces the Sun,” “Running Man,” and “Howling,” has now been cast in his first ever romance film in “School of Youths.”
Photography and filming is set to being in early October, with a highly anticipated release date in the first half of 2014!
