On January 20th, Bang Yongguk released his MV for ‘Hikikomori‘. Check it out below!
‘Hikikomori’ MV:
Yongguk is blindfolded as an audience claps for him. When leaving the stage, he slams the door and the scene changes. Yongguk is now sitting alone in a chaotic room. It’s a total mess as papers and objects are strewn all over the floor. In some scenes, there are English translated lyrics. He seems to be doing a contemporary dance. In his blindfold again, he makes the gesture that he is being choked or strangled. This signifies that he feels trapped by himself. Matching the theme of loneliness, the song is sentimental and clearly has a deep meaning. His raw voice conveys the sad emotions he feels.
The Japanese term “hikikomori” means confinement from society. The former leader left B.A.P and TS Entertainment in August last year. Stay tuned!
