Dahye, member of girl group BESTie, has suffered fractures that will delay the group’s comeback. Originally slated for a late January return, BESTie pushed back their new release with rapper Dayhe fracturing two bones. After falling down a set of stairs at the end of the year, Dayhe fractured her right arm and ankle. Both injuries will require a four week hospital stay for recovery.
Representatives from YMB Entertainment said that the injuries were not that serious and with relaxation and rest they will heal. With the comeback being pushed back four weeks, the company also stated that the members are now preparing for a February comeback. The other members are concerned, but they are calmly preparing for the return of their member.
With a debut in 2013, BESTie has released multiple singles and albums and they gained attention in 2015 with their release of ‘Excuse Me.’ The release of ‘Excuse Me’ brought the group their most view video on YouTube. The group activities are not the only thing people put on halt, Dahye herself is a certified yoga instructor and has written a book on yoga called ‘Girl Group Yoga‘.
Let’s all hope for a speedy recovery for Dahye! We all wish for her to be back on stage fully healed soon!
