During the press conference for Big Bang‘s final concert of their ‘Alive Galaxy Tour’, G-Dragon revealed his opinion about Korean music.
He shared: ‘Lately, I’ve been feeling that Korean music is becoming confined to one genre.’
The leader explained his opinion: ‘I personally tried to produce music with less of what the public wanted in mind. Instead of Korean music, which has a fast turnover rate, I tend to listen to songs distinctive to different genres over a long period of time. I hope that we go back to the times where music was produced for the intention of creating memories. In America, it takes sometimes a month up to six months for there to be any type of response after an album’s initial release.’
Do you agree with G-Dragon?
