Seungri from Big Bang has recently took a stand for kimchi. No, not an acronym for something that sounds super official but the traditional Korean dish, kimchi.
On the November 2nd broadcast of Nagoya TV‘s ‘Jakiroba‘ – a Japanese TV program which featured guests from Nigeria, France, Afghanistan, and Colombia who introduced food from their countries, Seungri decided to use the simple but delicious item, kimchi stating that, “Kimchi is really delicious. Red food invigorates appetite.”
“Kimchi is just cabbage that’s been [massaged with hands] and fermented,” one of the international guests commented; seemingly not impresses with the item.
Which silly Seungri angrily and jokingly rebuttal with “What did you just say?”
The same international guest went on to explain how cheese is better then kimchi which caused Seungri to jokingly warn him,“Don’t look down on kimchi. [Watch your mouth].”
With this silly debate, netizens began to comment things like, “He knows what he’s doing”, “He’s great”, “I want him to become an honorary ambassador for kimchi”, and “I support his career in Japan”.
