BIGBANG‘s Daesung has been doing extremely well in Japan and he has no intention to stop! YG Entertainment has announced that the talented vocalist is going to release his newest solo mini-album “D-Lite” and the accompanying tour DVD in Japan.
The new album will be released on October 29th to celebrate the year-end party season. For the release, Daesung teamed up with “Enka! Avex Produced by YGEX” – a label that has produced big hits in late 90’s. Enka is a music style which is a quite similar to Korean trot.
“D-Lite” will consist of 9 Japanese tracks, 3 of which will be new enka songs. The title song will be a Japanese version of “Look At Me, Gwisoon” written by Kenichi Maeyamada. Additionally, a DVD with the music videos for “Look At Me, Gwisoon,” “Shut Up,” as well as the summer episode of “How To Enjoy Vacation In Hokkaido,” will come along with the CD.
Daesung commented, “It is a project that reflects a new side of me, setting apart from BIGBANG. I hope that people across all ages, from children to elderly people, will listen to it. Above all else, I hope that many people will sing and dance as they enjoy the year-end parties.”
If it’s not enough, Deasung will also be releasing a DVD from his solo arena tour “D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan ~D’slove” on October 22nd. The DVD will contain 20 installments of footage from Daesung’s 15 concerts all around Japan. It will also include Deasung’s interviews, documentary clips and more.
