BIGBANG‘s Seungri will be making his solo comeback in August!
On July 29th, YG Entertainment announced the news of 2NE1‘s new single and Seungri’s upcoming comeback on its official blog.
Seungri will be releasing a mini album on August 19th for the first time since his last album back in January of 2011. The new album will hold six brand new tracks.
Yang Hyun Suk wrote, “I think the fans must be flustered because it’s such an unexpected news. Like the first album, Seungri was in charge of the song writing and producing. The second mini album’s title song is ‘I Have Something to Say.‘”
“I Have Something to Say” will be a fast track of western house genre. The same director that filmed BIGBANG’s “Blue,” “Bad Boy,” and “Monster” will be in charge of Seungri’s music video.
Seungri will drop his mini album on August 19th and actively promote it until end of September. From then on, he will focus on promotions abroad as he releases a solo album in Japan on September 25th.
It’s been reported that G-Dragon and Taeyang are also spending late nights at the studio to put the finishing works on their respective albums.
