BIGONE is big and he is bad.
On February 23rd he released his old school inspired music video “Big Shootin” which featured BUGGY. The music video didn’t have that “swag” but originality that brought you back to the “good ol’ days” or much more simpler times.
The music video is true to the art, BIGONE doesn’t disappoint it reminds me a little of a curtain group called “A Tribe Called Quest”. The rapping is flawless and flows, BUGGY brings the reggae feel and takes you back to more simpler times when music was good.
In the song he drops real bombs and those bombs need to hit many places on the music scene because it needs to be heard. The video itself is raw and allows you to focus on him and BUGGY, there’s no fancy equipment, woman, just him and his squad with the clothes on their back in a real setting traveling through the city setting the bars which is what hip-hop is all about. The camera mans fast paced technique works well that keeps you on the edge as it goes back and forth from color to black and white but most importantly really catching rap in its essence and accomplishing that rawness which is hip-hop
This is a must see!
