BLACKPINK has caught the attention of NYLON magazine! NYLON is an American magazine that focuses on fashion and pop culture. In the latest issue, the four members got a chance to discuss their beginnings in the entertainment industry and hopes for the future.
What makes BLACKPINK stand out is that they have members who were raised outside of Korea. Jennie talked about wanting an international audience to be able to listen to their music. She also mentioned that being compared to 2NE1 is a great honor.
Rosé discussed their road to becoming BLACKPINK, mentioning that it took quite a while before they were able to debut. For those that have been following BLACKPINK since their pre-debut days, know it took a lot of patience and waiting! It has been about 4 years since YG announced that they were in the process of putting together a new girl group.
It’s good to know that America is paying attention to K-pop! We wish the girls the best of luck with their careers!
