Between September 22nd and 25th, BLACKPINK released concept photos for each of the four members ahead of their 1st full album release, ‘The Album’. Check out the photos down below!
BLACKPINK ‘THE ALBUM’ CONCEPT PHOTOS:
The girls serve their fierce expressions in these photos, showcasing an array of chic fashion styles. The two shots each member have commonalities between them. The first appears to be under a colder colour tone and highlight, and the second has a darker cast on the images. The group rock the girl crush concept with the clothing choices which include denim, leather jackets with spikes and chained necklaces. The plain backdrops and close up angles of the members have the impact of making the girls center stage, attracting all our attention.
Fans have long anticipated the group’s 1st full album ever since their debut in 2016. Hawk eyed Blinks analysed the album information that was previously released and have guesses to what the names of the tracks for the upcoming album will be. When these image teasers were released, some noticed the file name for the pictures to read ‘LSG teaser’. The images were quickly renamed by the company to ‘coming’ as seen below.
‘LSG TEASER’ RUMOUR:
However, as the rumours of the track list grew, ‘LSG’ matched against one of the proposed tracks included in the album; ‘Lovesick Girls’. Hence fans are speculating that YG Entertainment may have accidentally leaked the name of the group’s next title track. Time will tell whether the indeed the fan-base was correct. Other than the hearsay going around, we do know the group’s previous two singles; ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Ice Cream’ will be included in the album’s track list.
BLACKPINK‘s 1st full album, ‘The Album’ will be released on October 2nd, 1PM KST!
