BoA‘s first solo concert in Taiwan was a huge success so the singer’s tears of happiness are not surprising.
The soloist held her “BoA Special Live 2013 – Here I Am in Taipei” on May 18th with over 3,000 attendees. One day before the concert, on May 17th, her fans and media outlets promptly crowded the airport to welcome her to the country, proving the influence she has on the netizens.
BoA performed 23 songs to live accompaniment. As soon as she began the performance of “Implode” the audience held up placards reading ′B♡A′, while for “No. 1” they all held up slogans reading ′So touching′ and ′Please cry for us~′, succeeding in drawing tears from the singer.
The singer commented, “I′ve been to Taiwan many times before, but it feels different to be here for an exclusive concert. I was so touched at the special event put together by my fans in Taiwan. Thank you for the support, and I′ll return next time with a greater performance.”
BoA will continue on her tour with concerts in Daegu and Busan on May 25th and June 1st.
