Boyfriend have dropped another Japanese track and music video, ‘Call Me‘.
It’s a cute mid-tempo laid-back summer bop. It’s full of lazy synths and light and bright melodies. It’s a smooth track that floats along with warmth and sincerity overflowing.
Boyfriend‘s vocal performance is strong and allows the personality and colour of each of the members to shine. The rap segments are playful and fun, and the post chorus hook has the feel of low-key funk which adds another layer to the song.
The accompany music video is slick and sticks to the laid-back summer-time vibe. The members all look like they’re having fun in this clip. The choreography, the scenery, everything just works together to create a seamless piece of summertime fun.
