Despite it’s name, the music video for Woollim Entertainment‘s band Nell‘s new song “Green Nocturne” is anything but green, which makes me wonder if the song title was unintentional or a very well thought out pun.
The entire video has a somber, winter feel to it and rightfully so because according to Woollim’s description below the official video, they say, “The song reflects on oneself by singing out the past when we were brave, sincere while unsure and insecure. Nell, however, does not praise or consulate those past, but just whisper serenity with the calming sounds of acoustic guitar. This winter, a beautiful melody of ‘Green Nocturne’ is dedicated to the winter of 2014, which will never come back.”
I have no complaints about the song whatsoever. The vocals are wonderful and work together perfectly with the instrumentals. Very nice job, Nell!
Make sure you cuddle up with a blanket and have yourself a nice cup of tea before watching the “Green Nocturne” music video below.
Even Nell’s biggest idol fan boy Infinite‘s Sungkyu tweeted about the new release saying, “Hello everyone? Nell hyung-nim’s new song Green Nocturne will be released at midnight. I have already listened to it, let’s all listen together^^heh”, translated by InfiniteUpdates.
