It seems that black clouds looming above EXO are still there. Even though they just announced their comeback in early 2015, and at this year’s MAMA Awards, received the Daesang for Best Album of 2014 and put on a very united front, all may not be as it appears.
Speculations have risen again from SINA, the media company that operates Weibo, reporting that another Chinese member, Tao, is going to follow the steps of Wu Yi Fan and Luhan who have left the group, and sue SM Entertainment to nullify his contract.
One of the critics posted: “Huang Zitao is going to nullify the contract and go back to China,” and soon after, another critic stated in the same note, saying: “The group is considered to be facing bottleneck and they are facing a regrouping issue. SM is grooming another group and won’t put too much effort in EXO, EXO’s peak has already past.”
Both of these users have hundreds of thousands of followers on Weibo, and are considered to be verified sources of information. These posts resulted in immediate attention from their fanbase, with over 6,000 comments and reblogs. EXO-L are very afraid that this speculation could prove to be true.
SM Entertainment has yet to respond to this whole situation, even though we hope this is just a rumor. However, when SINA reported possible leaves for YiFan and Luhan, those turned out to be true.
All we can do now is wait for official statements.
Stay tuned for more news from Officially Kmusic.
