After Brown Eyed Girls‘ member Ga-In appeared in Psy’s “Gentleman” music video, the Brown Eyed Girls have been receiving a lot of attention, many from overseas companies – getting numerous love calls.
Many K-pop fans recognize Ga-In from the music video as well as the familiar, classic K-pop dance; a remake of “Abracadabra” by the Brown Eyed Girls. It has already been 4 years since the debut of “Abracadabra,” and now the music video is streamed popularly again, by both K-pop fans and curious newcomers alike.
The girls have since received around 30 calls daily, almost 4 times the normal amount of calls they used to get.
The humble girls are deciding not to leave South Korea behind for international fame, however, as Ga-In recently told media outlet Osen through a phone call, “If I get a chance to go overseas, of course I would love to. But I’m a singer. I think talent is important. I want to do it, but I want to think things over calmly. I won’t change from what I’ve been doing. I’m just going to continue like I always have.”
