2NE1 is no longer the only the K-pop group to make their way onto international fans’ TV sets! BtoB made a surprise appearance on “America’s Next Top Model,” to show the Cycle 21 contestants not only how to dance, but also how to be excellent visuals, on their recent trip to Seoul.
The episode was titled “The Guy Who Parties Too Hard,” and it took place in the heart of South Korea, Seoul. The remaining contestants had the chance to rock the local streets with the guidance of the popular boy group, BtoB! The learned how to perform the choreography to their single. “Beep Beep,” and also got some important advice. Member Peniel explained to their group but what it means to be to visuals, and how to best present their product.
The contestants were split into two groups, and had to showcase their garments while incorporating the choreography. The models, most notably Lenox and Shei, rocked some some serious K-fashion, from top-notch hairstyles to cat ears. Each group was critiqued by the members, and Chantelle, Keith, and Raelia were chosen as the top 3. Each member chose Chantelle as their favorite because they “all liked her dancing and thought she was a dancing machine.” Peniel was the groups translator, and spoke on behalf of the group when it came to critiquing the contestants.
The aspiring models will continue filming in South Korea until November 14th. You can watch the latest episode here at CW TV!
