The night kicked off with a flash-mob performed outside of the venue by Dallas A.R.M.Y‘s who set the mood for the rest of the evening. As everyone piled into the Verizon Theatre an excited whisper took over the crowd and a wait that felt like hours began. Slowly the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted in a roar that shook the entire building. The screen on-stage began playing the first vcr which cut to a scene introducing the members before then respectively asking the fans to turn off their phones and asking them to have fun.
As the vcr faded to black and the lights turned down even more a rumbling took hold of the crowd, everyone was excited to see BTS red lights flashed on the stage highlighting the members figures. The fans erupted in excitement and they started their concert off with ‘N.O.‘; a powerful track that got the crowd hyped and ready for the next two hours. Between sets, the members stopped to talk to the crowd. Rap Monster did most of the talking, however each member spoke in English and expressed gratitude to their fans.
From talking to the crowd to playing games with one another, the boys of BTS know exactly how to entice the crowd as well as perform to their fullest. Anyone going to see this concert will not be let down. From their debut song to their most recent comeback song ‘Dope‘ even rounding out the concert with an encore performance of ‘I Need U‘, the boys know how to entertain an audience and keep everyone on their feet from start to finish. Even when they asked fans to sing along, they had the lyrics romanized behind them on the screen. This is one group with an extremely bright and long career ahead of them.
