This is probably the hardest moment for every K-Pop fan out there whether you are an A.R.M.Y or not. Two days ago when BTS was preparing for their two-day concert in Kobe, Japan, after rehearsals, Suga and V experienced nausea and stomach pain and were rushed to hospital for a check out.
Later that evening Big Hit Entertainment stated following on their Twitter: “We are making this announcement because the ‘2015 BTS LIVE HwaYangYeonHwa on stage ~Japan Edition~ in Kobe’s World Hall on the 27th and 29th will be cancelled.
Before the concert, Suga and V experienced nausea, so rehearsal was cancelled and the two were rushed to a nearby hospital for professional medical diagnosis. The CT scans showed no big concerns, but the two were diagnosed with nausea possibly due to large movement during concerts, and that they should be kept under watch.
The two members strongly wanted to stand on stage to meet fans who came to see them, but are currently resting under strong recommendation by the medical staff, and thankfully are recovering quickly.
However, we decided that we cannot show a lacking stage with a concert without all the members, so we have decided to cancel all schedules around the Kobe concert, including today’s.
The members will be quickly returning to Korea so Suga and V can have a detailed checkup.
We ask for the understanding of all the fans who came to see the boys. We will minimize loss by completely refunding the tickets to both concerts.
We sincerely apologize to the audience as well as all the fans.
Once again, we are sorry to cause concern.”
The other five members went on stage and apologized several times for not being able to do the concert because BTS can not perform without being complete, even though they did perform I Need You (Japanese version), Hold Me Tight and Let Me Know.
On fancams you could see and hear fans crying for the members and Jin, Jungkook and J-Hope cried also, it was really an emotional stage.
They were expected to return to Korea on 28th for the complete medical check-up. Fans have been assured that it’s nothing serious but BigHit’s silence for the last two days has been troubling fans. On the subject of the coming performances, they just said following: “We don’t know yet what will happen to their appearance at the end of the year shows.”
This is a difficult position for fans since the performances have been greatly anticipated but we all value the member’s health above all else. They are expected to perform on KBS Gayo Festival on 30th and on MBC‘s Gayo Daejaejeon on 31st of December.
