BTS has unfailingly released many hit albums, and their latest album, ‘Love Yourself: Tear‘ is no exception.
The title track, ‘Fake Love‘ has received just as much love as the album–if not more– and has made its way to the top of both domestic as well as international charts, and the MV has garnered millions of views in days.
Keeping up with this momentum of success, BTS‘ comeback promotions have been going on in full force. And nobody expected the group to drop an extended version of ‘Fake Love‘ in the middle of it.
The extended MV is more than one minute longer than the original one. But that wasn’t the only shock – what was even more surprising to fans is that the MV featured a previously unheard rock remix of ‘Fake Love‘!

In addition to the mind-numbingly beautiful guitar riffs that weren’t there in the previous MV, the extended version has mysterious scenes that have the whole ARMY fandom brewing theories. After the song ends, the video shows Jungkook joining a group of six cloaked and masked figures (supposedly the other members of BTS), and this has come off as particularly intriguing yet perplexing to many. However, nothing else rivals the ominous closing scene, which shows a brick wall falling on, and crushing, the seven figures. The MV ends right after that.
