Despite some legal trouble, Bumkey is back with a new song and music video titled ‘My Everything.’
I have always had the opinion that Bumkey is one of Korea’s top R&B singers. This new music video just goes to further solidify that point. From the opening bars’ there is no doubt that this Bumkey. The overall sound of the song completely matches and compliments the flow and meter of Bumkey’s signature vocals.
“When I see you sleeping next to me .
I am so happy that this is not a dream.
Opening our eyes together everyday.
This moment is a gift.“
The music video itself is subtle which also adds to the feel of the song. Instead of a traditional video showing Bumkey on some set or in the studio, this music video is a series of drawings showing different scenes of a couple’s relationship. Based on the notes you can see at the bottom of the music video many of the pictures seem to be drawn by the artist himself with some of the lyrics of the song layered over top.
