C-Jes Entertainment, the agency that JYJ and Song Jihyo are under, has won their lawsuit against album distribution company Asia Bridge Contents.
The past year C-Jes and Asia Bridge have been fighting it out, C-Jes Entertainment made an agreement to produce JYJ’s album ‘The Beginning’ and asked for album distribution to be managed by the company Asia Bridge Contents and a third party identified as “K”. After being confirmed, Asia Bridge Contents invested 1 billion won for production and fees for “K,” but when they failed to reimburse, Asia Bridge Contents demanded that amount from C-Jes Entertainment.
On November 24th, Seoul District Central Court in South Korea decided in favor of C-Jes Entertainment. It was stated that the fight for the costs was and should be between Asia Contents Media and “K”, leaving C-Jes Entertainment not liable.
