Not all idols can cook, there are many times when camera crews have caught the idols in their dormitories and they look flustered when told to cook for their group members. Jin from BTS really enjoys his food and cooking. It’s no secret that Jin enjoys his food, he has even created his own segment on the BTS Youtube channel titled ‘Eat Jin‘ where he basically has a ‘mukbang‘ (dining in front of a camera) with his fans whilst explaining how delicious the food is. On BTS’s 1st birthday as a group, Jin was seen cooking the special dinner for a special episode of ‘Bangtan TV‘.
However, it seems that fans didn’t trust the quality of Jin’s cooking, and one fan in particular decided to send a photo of Jin’s cooking to the top British chef Gordon Ramsey for him to rate Jin’s food. Gordon Ramsey is know for his slightly risque and strict approach along with his harsh words; as well as his many shows such as Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell where he travels around the U.S and UK being critical of peoples food – And it seems that he had some choice words for Jin.
The fan sent a photo of what looks to be Jin’s infamous jjajangmyeon with a fried egg on top, but in true Gordon Ramsey style Jin’s cooking was thrown back in his face when the chef replied to the fan:
“Over cooked egg with worms! No thanks!”
This has caused a ripple of laughter and hilarity throughout the BTS fandom, all of whom are trying to get Jin to see the top chefs reply. Check out the messages below.
What do you think of Jin’s cooking? Do you think Gordon Ramsey was too harsh? Leave your comment below!
