TVXQ‘s Changmin recently took home the best rookie award from the ‘36th Japanese Academy Awards.’
Changmin was part of the movie ‘Fly With the Gold,’ taking on the role of Momo, a North Korean bomb specialist. Despite language barriers (as he had to film in Japanese), he mastered the distinct dialect to fit in with the character and was amazing at relaying Momo’s pain to the audience. Those talents and skill won him the rookie award.
His acting career began with 2011’s ‘Paradise Ranch,’ he then continued to film ‘Athena‘ and ‘Fly With the Gold.’ He made his MC debut this year in the variety show ‘Moonlight Prince,’ which aired the first episode on January 22nd.
Congratulations!
