From September 14th to the 18th, CIGNATURE released four sets of concept photos ahead of their 1st mini album comeback, ‘Listen and Speak’. While they continuously dropped these photos, they also revealed the MV teaser for the album’s title track, ‘Arisong’. Check out the pictures and teaser down below!
CIGNATURE ‘LISTEN AND SPEAK’ CONCEPT PHOTOS:
In the photos, we see the group primarily in two sets of outfits. The first set shows them all in gray academic uniforms complete with knee high socks. All of them are inside the classroom in their individual shots doing a range of activities such as reading books and playing cards. To contrast, the second attire has the group wearing colourful sport uniforms. The group pose with all smiles outside on the basketball court with their equally vibrant new hair colours. Similarly, their individual cuts display each member’s cute fresh charms with accessories such as a skateboard, cups and potato chips.
‘ARISONG’ MV TEASER:
Moving on to the MV teaser, it kicks off with a spotlit empty gymnasium with the girls in their sporty attire doing some quick stretches as they quickly strut towards the camera. The little peek of choreography shows us we’re about to receive a fun energetic track. In their school ensembles, each member hangs around the school whether that be playing the violin, sunbathing on the grassed area or looking over the school rooftop amongst other activities. The septet eventually meet on the school grounds as they sit on the outside stairs leading up to the academy. The audio throughout the teaser features a reverberating EDM synth and bouncy beat. It reaches an end where the we hear the title of the song in the lyrics before stopping right at the cusp of a suspected drop.
‘Listen and Speak’ will contain five tracks including their previously released double debut singles, ‘Nun Nu Nan Na’ and ‘Assa’ released back in February and April of this year respectively. It sounds like the group will continue on their trend of serving EDM bangers for title tracks. So it’ll be exciting to see how this comeback will sound. After these teasers, the girl group is set to release an album preview before the awaited mini album drop.
