On April 8th, upcoming girl group CLASS:y released a teaser video ahead of their debut. Using the tagline, ‘We customize our own’, we see the girls show us their world. Whether that be hanging together, playing music, or dancing, they show their visuals and skills in both ways.
Set to debut sometime in April, the group have already released part 1 of their track list which contains four tracks, including the theme song, ‘Same Same Different’. The project group was formed on MBC‘s survival show, ‘My Teenage Girl’ which concluded at the end of February. The top 7 contestants of the finale then became the lineup of this new girl group. The members are Hyungseo, Chaewon, Hyeju, Riwon, Jimin, Boeun and Seonyou.
Setting themselves apart other project groups, the members have signed a 7-year contract to M25, a subsidiary of MBK Entertainment. Lasting longer than most, this should see the girls grow and diversify with their concept as they mature. They have also signed with Universal Music Japan for their Japanese promotions.
