Just a day after releasing their full length album “Code Name Blue,” it has gone straight to the top of the Oricon charts.
The album sold almost 22,000 copies on the first day of its release. Overcoming the most popular Japanese Jrock groups like The Gazette, Tokyo Jihen and even AKB48.
CN Blue is the only non-Japanese band to even be placed in the top 10 charts so they gained a lot of attention.
The album was released on August 29th in Japan and they will be staying in Japan to concentrate on their upcoming tour in October.
