With CNBLUE members enlisting to fulfil their mandatory military service in South Korea, they will be releasing a compilation album in Japan ‘BEST of CNBLUE/Our Book 2011-2018‘ to fill the void for fans or Boice (CNBLUE‘s fanbase).
The first part of the special release is their latest Japanese single ‘Don’t Say Goodbye‘ and the accompanying music video.
The song is a piano driven (played by Yong Hwa) uptempo pop-rock track which has jazz undertones. Yong Hwa takes care of the majority of the vocals on the track, and it’s so nice to hear his voice again, even though it hasn’t been that long!
He tells listener’s that ‘They’ll be All Right‘, and ‘They need Boice‘. So, it’s quite a sentimental track despite the up-tempo beat.
The music video was filmed before the group’s leader Jung Yong Hwa enlisted earlier this year, and features the band in performance and rehearsal mode.
