On January 15th, Code Kunst and Lee Hi released their collaboration track and MV ‘XI‘. Check it out below!
‘XI’ MV:
In this dark and mysterious MV, we are introduced to the female and male lead. The guy has a bright yellow buzzcut with matching eyebrows, so he definitely stands out. Lee Hi’s soulful voice is prominent and steady as she sings. The English translation of the lyrics appear at the bottom of the screen in a subtitle fashion like in a film. The MV is incredibly artistic as it features different camera shots and angles. Regarding the lyrics, there is some swearing in English. The couple seem to be going through some ups and downs in their relationship. Overall, the song is chilling and the two artists’ styles complement each other perfectly.
