The popular Korean drama “The Heirs“, also known as “The Inheritors“, has been recently sold to Japan for the highest price that any K-drama has ever received.
On November 30th, the production agency of “The Heirs” shared that they’ve been negotiating for copyright exports to various countries in Asia, Europe, and North America.
“The Heirs” also known as “The Inheritors” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, which is currently airing on SBS, that depicts the love and friendship between a group of wealthy high school students at Empire High School. The cast includes a number of top actors, and K-Pop idols as well, including f(x)‘s Krystal, and ZE:A‘s Park Hyung Shik.
The production agency said, “A great number of people from many different countries are showing interests for ‘The Inheritors’. Thank you for the supports that everyone showed for us, and we will keep doing our best.”
The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday.
