On August 24th, CRAVITY released the MV for their title track, ‘Flame’. Check it out down below!
CRAVITY ‘FLAME’ MV:
The song features heavy beats with an urban genre mixed in with some hip hop elements. Lyrically, the boys show their inner passion to another person, determined to win them over. The choreography shown throughout the MV reflects that intense fire with powerful movements and changing formations to create a dynamic performance.
Moving on to the remainder of the MV, the group walk around a deserted facility that includes a windmill, metal fence, empty telephone booth and building in the background. The atmosphere is tinted orange with smoke reoccurring around the area. The members hence show off their matured visuals with solo shots taken within this landscape. Other sets include one simply with an overhead light fixture that features a circular light with rays coming out from all sides, resembling the sun; and a clean white rectangular box set where the group performs their choreography, acting as a contrast to the rest of the MV’s more intensely coloured and cluttered sets.
Since their debut earlier in this year, they are named the hot rookies for 2020. After winning the new artist award at the recent Soribada Awards, and selling over 150,000 copies of their debut mini album, the group is therefore expected to do very well in the coming future.
CRAVITY‘s second mini album, ‘Season 2. Hideout: The New Day We Step Into’, featuring the title track ‘Flame’, is the second installment of the group’s hideout album series, and is available now.
