Since the news about Soyul and Moon Hee Jun‘s relationship surfaced months ago, there has been much speculation about the future of Crayon Pop. On May 31st, a Chrome Entertainment source revealed that the group will continue to promote as a four member group. It seems that married life and being a mother make it too difficult for Soyul to continue performing in a girl group.
Ellin, Gummi, Way and ChoA will keep working on upcoming album preparations and schedules without Soyul from now on. However, none of the members will be renewing their contracts. Although they will continue to promote with under the current label, there is talk that the remaining four will later sign under new labels and focus more on individual activities.
