CROSS GENE‘s Shin has recently been seen wearing a neck brace at the group’s comeback performances.
The singer has released a statement to reassure fans that he is fine and almost fully recovered from his injury.
Shin’s statement read, “I’m a lot better. I’m about 80% healed now.”
He continued, “It happened during our first comeback performance pre-recording. It was the first time in a while so my body must have been stiff and on edge, and when I raised my arm I heard a ‘snap’ sound in my shoulder. I couldn’t turn my head, so I went to the hospital right away.”
Shin was then diagnosed with a muscle rupture. “I took an MRI, and it wasn’t severe. But while being checked up for that injury, I discovered some more health problems. I didn’t know that I had a herniated disc in my neck or a dislocation in my shoulder, so it’s a good thing that I figured those issues out.”

The group made a comeback earlier this month on May 8 with title tracks ‘Touch It‘ and ‘Fly‘ from their fifth mini ‘ZERO‘.
We wish Shin a speedy recovery.
