Dabit, a South Korean-American singer, has finally released his third digital album with title song “Up&Down”.
Dabit was born and raised in Ohio, USA as the youngest child in the family. Since he was very little, his dream was music.
He came back to Korea after attending two years at Berklee College of Music, to pursue his dream to become a famous singer. Dabit auditioned with various entertainment companies, but finally signed up with Choeun Entertainment, where he trained to debut with idol group 24K. When the group debuted he soon realized that idol music was not for him he left the company and joined with KoffeeDream Management (KDM), and started his journey as a solo singer-songwriter.
This new album focuses on the main theme about what people feel when they are in a relationship. The title song “Up&Down” features the voice of EvoL-s Hayana and it’s a medium tempo urban R&B song that has slightly jazzy feeling when you listen to it.
Listening to this song made me feel happy for some reason and it’s no wonder because the song talks about the strong feeling that someone has when you are in love or liking someone.
Beside the title track there are two other bonus tracks: “Lonely love” and “The Rain Song,“ all three of them showcase his voice in different light! Be sure to check them out.
