While BIGBANG is on a hiatus for the next few years due to members enlisting in the military, there is still solo activity for fans to enjoy. The first of these solo activities will be fellow member Daesung, as he’s set to release his first solo album. The album titled ‘D-Day‘ is set to be released April 12th. This will be a Japanese release under his Japanese stage name D-Lite, and he will have his concert ‘D-Lite Japan Dome Tour 2017′ in the same month.
Daesung issued a statement on the reason behind the title of his album:
“The title of the album ‘D-Day’ means the anniversary that I can meet the fans through this album.”
This is exciting news, especially for his Japanese fans, for this is his first release in two years. The album will contain seven songs written and composed by top Japanese artists. The names include Ayaka, Hata Motohiro, and Mizuno Yoshiki.
