BigBang member Daesung′s first solo album in Japan has been getting a lot of attention from fans.
According to the Oricon on February 28th, Daesung′s first solo album “D′scover” rose to number two following its debut at number four on the Daily Album Chart.
Daesung chose 10 J-Pop songs out of over 200 nominees and reinterpreted them in his own voice. Two new original songs were also listed for a total of 12 tracks in the album.
Four top musicians in Japan – Seiji Kameda, M-Flo′s rapper Verbal, music producer Matsuo Kiyoshi and composer Sasaji Masanori also joined in the album to perfect the top-tier project.
Daesung will be holding a total of 25 shows from March 23 to 24 in Kobe to June. The “D-Lite D′scover Tour 2013 in Japan- DLIVE” is expected to draw an audience of over 100,000.
Jang Geun Suk and Big Brother′s Team H landed at number seven on the same chart with its first studio album “I Just Wanna Have Fun”, while BoA rose to number 10 with “Only One” on the Daily Singles Chart.
