DAY6 have released their ‘Every DAY6 November’ track titled ‘All Alone’. This is the second to last instalment in their 12month ‘Every DAY6’ series which has seen the group release one track a month for the last year.
‘All Alone’ is an acoustic guitar driven rock ballad that has a soft and gentle sound that is in contrast to the longing and emotional lyrical content. The track’s lyrics talk about the sudden feelings of despair and loneliness which creep up on you in the middle of the night.
The use of a xylophone adds an ethereal component to the track and reinforces the message in the lyrics. The vocal colours of each of the individual members combine and complement each other in a way that makes the end product sound effortless.
In the accompanying video clip, the members perform the track in front of a projected image of their last music clip for ‘When You Love Someone’.
