The boys of DAY6 are officially back with their second mini album ‘Daydream’.
On March 30 at midnight KST, JYP Entertainment released the music video for ‘놓아 놓아 놓아 (Letting Go)’ and it’s already collecting a lot of views. Since their debut, DAY6 has had a steady increase in fans due to their unique personalities and amazing musical skills. Performing, not only their own songs, but stunning covers of fellow label mates’ music as well like Wonder Girls, miss A, GOT7, and TWICE, DAY6 has proven they are a band to be reckoned with.
As a six track album, ‘Daydream’ shows the various sides and abilities of Wonpil, Sungjin, Jae, Young K, and Dowoon as they created this album from their own sweat and tears. Their title track ‘Letting Go’ really highlights each member as an individual artist and the harmonies the group creates as one unit. The music video is very abstract but works well with the way the song flows.
Different from their first album, DAY6 actually will be promoting on music shows this time around making ‘M! Countdown’ their first stop. You can also catch the guys as they make their way across the ocean for their first US fanmeeting and will be performing at Toronto KPOP CON.
I really enjoyed this album and the music video was visually pleasing to my eyes. I think one of the things I also like is that DAY6 does create their own music so you can tell that they take a different pride in their work. What was your opinion on the music video? Tell us about it.
