After 4 years, Defconn is back to work as a solo act with a new music video “SleepWitYa” featuring Hong Ji Myeong.
In complete honesty, I’ll warn you: if you are looking for a sweet and mushy love song, keep moving because you are not going to find that here. The music video is rated at 19 plus and in this instance, I can understand why. There is more innuendo and sexual undertone in this 3 minute 39 second music video then in an entire Nora Roberts romance novel.
Love it or hate the song and music video, I will say this about Defconn and Hong Ji Myeong, they never lie about what it is they are looking for with these girls. They are at least honest, they are looking for someone to engage in adult activities with. If it becomes more than that, great, if not, well that’s cool also.
This song will not be a favorite of most main stream K-Pop fans or even Korean hip hop fans, because Defconn’s meter and flow is very indicative of a rapper that honed his craft in the underground circuit. So if you are a lover of Korean hip hop or if you are a more adventurous listener, then check out this song.
