Diplo Brings you “Dr. Pepper” with a Side of CL, OG Maco, and Riff Raff

After a lot curiosity as to what would CL’s collaborative music video with Diplo would be like and lets say it does leave you speechless.

Diplo is known for making odd collabs among other things but this may be the oddest. The music video is very tongue and cheek with its out of place special use of dinosaurs and Diplo’s personal booty clad team of twirlers. In the video you see CL, Riff Raff, and OG Maco in their “element” from walking around mansions, jamming in a limo, and standing on top of a van, dancing in parking lots. It’s a lot to take in.

Many people are not fans of the video and label it as cheap and below CL’s potentinal. Fans will argue that even though CL is featured in the video and on the track, that this is because she is pleasing the U.S.market and that this is not her work but that doesn’t mean anything when the video itself is just bad.

There are a decent amount of American music videos, you just gotta do a lot of muscle work in finding goods ones. This music video just looks thrown together as to what looks without much thought, OG Maco and CL are both the only decent appearances even if it isn’t their best as for Riff Raff not much can be said he’s something else. The video like the song is pointless, it’s one of those videos where you have little to no expectations but you still just feel disappointed. Normally I praise CL and Diplo for their work but this is just something you can’t find anything positive.

With CL’s debut on the horizon it does leave you wondering what will it be like what her debut will be like and that is what worries fans  because they don’t know and that leaves them thinking of the possibility of her losing  her essence  that made CL a valued artist as she tries to break onto the U.S. market. The video really has fans thinking about CL’s debut and pending career, especially since a lot is expected from CL as an idol and from that, they expect her to make good music and at the same time not lose herself since she is talented and beloved.
